Whether you want to learn the basics of horse care and riding, or advance your horsemanship skills, Sonlight Stables can assist you in achieving your goals.

Lessons begin with basic horse care and grooming. Each student will learn and become responsible in getting their horse ready for the lesson. Depending on your preference and experience, lessons are designed to challenge and  steer each student to becoming a better horse person.

We offer lessons in both Western and English. This includes disciplines such as western performance, halter/showmanship, games, trail riding, English Equitation, basic dressage and jumping.

All lesson are approximately 1 hour long and are run on a weekly or biweekly basis.

Cost:

$35 - Private

$30 - Semi-Private (2 people)

$25 - Group Lesson (3-6 people)

INSTRUCTOR                                            

Barb Sonnentag has over 25 years of horse experience. This experience includes training, showing horses, and teaching riding lessons to all ages and levels. She is a Certified Instructor of both Western and English and was a school teacher in the past. Barb is passionate in what she does and enjoys sharing her love and knowledge of horses with her students.
