Come experience farm life for a day at Sonlight Stables. The day will begin with milking the cow, feeding all the furry and feathered farm animals, collecting eggs and mucking out stalls. The campers will learn how to make homemade ice cream and butter. After lunch we will challenge the campers physically and spiritually with a team challenge course. We will then take a wagon ride through the woods to the hay field to learn about baling and stacking hay bales. To conclude the day the campers will be given a horsemanship lesson and have the opportunity to ride a horse.

We'll also learn from an older farmer that will share his experience of farming with horses and share stories from the farm life.

The schedule will be packed full of farm experiences and of course games too!

What to bring?

-wear cloths and boots that WILL get dirty and smelly
-gloves
-a sack lunch
-water bottle

The day begins at 8am sharp and will wrap up at 5pm.

Three different days to choose from, June 17.  The cost is $50 per person.
